pdfex is a mobile app developed by @erayjs. We value your privacy and the confidentiality of your PDF documents.

What We Collect- No personal information — We do not require accounts, emails, names, or logins.- Limited anonymous data — Only basic, non-identifiable info like device type, OS version, app version, language, and anonymized usage stats (e.g., feature usage, crashes) to improve the app.- Your PDFs and translations — All processing (text extraction + translation) happens locally on your device or via our own secure API (no third-party translation services). Your files and content never leave your device without your action, and we do not store, log, or retain any document content or extracted text on our servers.

How We Use Data- To run the translation feature- To fix bugs and improve the app (only anonymized stats)

SharingWe do not sell, share, or disclose your data or document content to anyone — except if legally required (e.g., court order).

No third-party analytics, crash reporting, or translation APIs are used.

Data Retention- Your PDFs and translations stay on your device — we never store them.- Anonymous usage/crash data is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.

Children's PrivacyNot intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

SecurityWe use secure practices for any minimal data transmission. No method is 100% secure, but your document content is never stored or shared.
